We met at 1:00 pm at Bayonet Farm for this 2.5-mile walk to see a host of golden daffodils. First, we saw the Daffodil Memorial Beds planted by volunteers at our Town’s Bayonet Farm. Then, we wandered into the Ramanessin Section of Holmdel Park to see spring’s first wild greens and the extensive daffodils planted over 60 years ago along the brook’s edge. We also saw some spring beauties, lots of skunk cabbage and a few trout lilies. We appreciated the new cedar trail signs that had just been installed as an Eagle Scout project.
