We stayed for five nights at this small 8-room hotel which is right on the beach of Simpson Bay:

The swimming here was quite wonderful as the water was about 90 degrees. One did need to be careful when entering the water as there were several large rocks near shore. Most of the time the water was somewhat wavy and hence the sand was stirred up and the visibility and snorkeling were poor. We saw very few fish here.
