We visited the site of the Caravanserai where we had stayed 50 years ago. The small-about 20 room resort-was gone and had been replaced by much larger developments.
A crab welcomed us.
Back then the nearby Maho Beach was deserted and there were no buildings to be seen.
Between the beach and the end of the airport runway is a narrow fenced road. Hoards appear to watch and take selfies with arriving planes.
The adjacent bar has a nice pool.
Then we drove further west and explored Mullet Bay and Cupecoy Bay. There were may high rise resorts and condo developments. Perhaps half of them appeared to be closed or abandoned. Much of the shoreline was very rocky and with rough water.
